    I'm currently testing F.E.A.R

it's pretty badass, i predict it will be as big as hits like half life 2, battlefield 2, doom 3..

it is a VERY solid action/fps game. The controls fit well, the graphics are just incredible. the sound is great, very creepy on surround sound. The gameplay never seems to slow down, it kept me on edge for the majority of the test.

It has a very creepy atmosphere, i found it scarier than many horror movies. I found it was mostly because of the lighting, the characters, and the sounds effects. Also, the realistic physics with blood and gore added another effect because it draws you into the game more than ever.

I would highly encouraging you all to get the Multiplayer and SP demos, both available at www.fileplanet.com.

Also, i have put together a full analysis (big) of the entire test if anyone has an interest in reading it

*edit* forgot to mention that if you preorder now i think it guarantees you in for the 2nd beta

I actually just finished downloading and playing the demo about 10 minutes ago after seeing it on G4. I wasn't too impressed by it, it seemed like just another fps to me. The gameplay was a bit choppy for me though, maybe it's time for an upgrade.I've been getting way more picky about the games I buy now since I don't play as much these days.
