I wish people would make make more than just random junk with 3D programs. It'd be nice to see some identifiable objects rendered.

What's c4d? I know its a 3d program but what is the exact name and is it hard to make those random things in it?

I agree completely I've been preaching to people to model real objects for awhile now.

Cinema 4D is the full name, it runs about $700 from Maxon's website. The random things aren't too difficult to make. Typically theyre standard primitives with modifiers put on them.
Its good to see you making things on your own, but these are extremely trendy and typical. If you want to continue to pursue abstract, I suggest that you find your own style. Look at http://viviphyd.deviantart.com/gallery he has his own style for 3d abstract and he models in c4d. If youre not feeling like you have to stick with abstract, check out modelling some real objects. Thats where you'll get the most skill in both modelling and materials.

c4d is Cinema 4d...and those renders are by 'The Trance' from deviantart...i know cuz i have them too....
