a quick concept backstory sketch i did for project hull-breach.

lol i have a tablet , duh :P
o and im not sure if you ever saw a sandstorm ( thats what its supposed to be btw ) but the depth of the sky becomes non-visable...
trust me ive seen em a few times, but anyqways i love the CnC you give sidra. hmm just let me know if there is anything i need to imporvve apon for my next one. thanks.
im looking to do something diffrent for my next one, whats you MSn btw :P

That might be the case if you had depicted it the way most sandstorms are, where there is the main section of the storm, then there is a "haze" of sand far into the air that surrounds the area. That "haze" is what causes there to be no depth because the sand partially block's ones view. In your painting, the sand clearly stops before reaching the section of clouds. It wouldnt make any sense that just because there is a sandstorm on the ground (not covering the view of the sky) that the visible clouds suddenly become 2 dimensional to the human eye.
Aside from that, the rest of the image is decent. Itd be better if the edges were straighter and if there was more decay to the surfaces. Right now the surfaces look too perfect (no flaws). If there are sandstorms that occur, there is bound to be a couple imperfections. I think that it looks a little strange though in the bottom left. Overall, it looks pretty good
