Where/how do you get your ideas?

Just wondering where you guys get the ideas for the stuff you make. personally, mine are kind of spontaneous and on impulse.

Me + Keyboard + Mouse + Monitor + CPU + white walls in my room

One time I just stared at my white wall for 3 minutes and then just thought of something to try. =) I suggest not trying that, because that might damage your eyes.

heh, ive done worse, ive stared at MY white wall for about 30 minutes, and decided my train of thought wasnt gonna stop at the creative station anyway so i left.
