I just got this awesome new computer! Extreme makeover!
Before:
PIII 650 megahertz processor, with 13 gigs of space, and only 256 ram
After:
ADM (or something like that) 3.4 gigahertz processor, with 120 gigs of space, and over 1 gig of ram
What an amazing leap of glory
AMD > Pentium

amd 2500 and 1024 ram 80 gig

AMD Athlon 64 3.2Ghz
1 GB RAM
200GB SATA hard drive
2 disc drives, one DVD reader, another CD burner(dont really do movies..)
nvidia geforce 6600GT
500W PSU
-
GeForce FX 5200 256mb
It works pretty good Especially compared to my old 32bit peice of crap! lol
-
from what i know, the FX line isnt the best of cards, id say up to a geforce 6600 at least when you have the cash.

Computer I'm considering buying when my scholarship check comes in:

The parts that they offer for the price is actually a really good deal as opposed to Alienware and etc.
But of course someone is going to say, it's cheaper to do it yourself. It's also more risky if you don't know what you're doing. Atleast you got a warranty when you buy it.

wow 3.4 is pretty crazy ! must run so fast.
I got an Intel Pentium 4 2.8Ghz, 1024MB ram
Yet i got a kick ass video card.
NVidia Ge-Force 6800 256MB
EDIT: O yea and 180 Gig hard drive !
And I have dual drives like compact.
One is a plaing compact disk
The other is a DVD R/RW and Compact CD/RW
