I got to lvl 15 then quit...

i play i got a lvl 29 warlock on frostwolf
it's a good game it gets a bit repetative but still you get addicted

i have a lvl 43 tauren shaman and a lvl 45 Human Paladin..
But i quit cuz the gfx Sux adnd gameplay Sucks :P
only things u can do is fight..

I just started a little while ago.. have a night elf 17 hunter.. and 11 tauren warrior..The game is awesome .. the gameplay and graphics are good dude.. and you can do a lot more than fight.. ex-fish,cook,leatherwork,herblore.. <_<

About the fishing and stuff.. its not even 10% of the game itself..
Look at Starwars Galaxies. Its like Morrowind but then with Starwars, u can be everything from starwars, dancer, fighter, item-maker etc..

i play off and on.. you really need to get into the whole ROLE PLAYING part... hence not just grinding out levels. but once you get into higher levels (level 60 mage and level 57 shaman here) the game gets a lot more fun and groups become an absolute necessity.
