Welll i know i've been posting a lot but i've seen lots of stuff i've never seen in sigs before. Therefore im asking a few questions which are newbie to most of you lol. First, how do you make those diagnol black lines i see on lots of grunge sigs? Second how do you do borders on the inside more instead of being on the outside?
and any other neat little tips or anything that would make my sigs improved with more design you can throw at me would be nice =)
and look at my current grunge sig and tell me what i could do to make it look better and look at text i tried making lines below it how do i make it so its see through so theres like a black line around it if you know what i mean text effects basically make it look nicer =)

go to good-tutorials.com and search for scanlines, that'll tell you the lines. Ok, that isn't really grunge, download my brushes here: and use them for grunge.

I told you man, they are called scanlines I swear to god the first tut you find will be fine because I did it myself when i was a noob.

and your 2nd question, it's a gradient. There is a tool in ps for it, it's inside of the paint bucket tool menu.
