Many ppl surely already know this, but i've seen on some tutorials that you need to restart your photoshop if
you want to install a new font (by copying it to C:\Windows\Fonts) But thats not needed. Follow this simple guide
if you want to know how.

If this thread is placed on the wrong place, please move it. I didnt know where to post it.

    1. First download the font you want to install. (Make sure photoshop is started)
    2. Extract it to your desktop or any other folder anywhere, not the font folder in c:\windows.
    3. Now, enter the Control Panel. And open Fonts there, now you should see something like your ordinary font folder.
    4. Now choose "File / Install new Fonts". Go to the font you downloaded and select all. Press Ok and it will install.
    5. Now close all windows (not photoshop) and create a new textlayer on photoshop, look for the font, and there it is. No need to restart it.

Some of this might not be stated exactly, im from sweden so i have a swedish windows XP, but i hope you will understand anyways.

    Enjoy. ^^
