very nice, i love the update, i have an idea, my friend did a band site and when you put your cursor on a link it shook, he did it by doin a couple motion blurs in photoshop and moving them around and puttin it into an animated gif, it turned out pretty sweet.

i can summarize it. duplicate the layer with the link a couple times. if it isnt already raterize the text. then go to filters>blur>motion blur and choose a flat angle, find a good distance, but not overkill. repeat but change the angle on each one. you should have just a flat one like --- and an up and down one like | and one or two diagonal ones, eg \ or / . optionally, you can move the text around a little on each one. then you go into imageready, and make 4 or more new frames. make the first layer visible on the first frame, then in the new frame make it invisible and hte next layer visible. repeat this till you have all your frames. it should look like its shaking.

Pretty standard emo/screamo/metal band layout. But that's a compliment. I think the links looked better when they were smaller. The link text doesn't fit in the update you made. Like others have said, try a grungier/less clean looking font. That one looks like Americana or something. As for link effects, maybe try a scratch out idea.. like on the from autumn to ashes website.
