this was another school assignment: find or make up a product, and then make an ad for it in 2 different color schemes. overall, i think i did OK, and the only thing i truely dont like about this is the reflection, which to me doesnt seem realistic, mainly cuz i blanked out and forgot how to do one lol. anyway, thats beside the point. so here it is, in 2 color schemes:
color scheme 1
color scheme 2
Also, the text is meant as a filler for what text actually might be there, i was more focused on design, so more cnc on that please.

hte imb text on the top right really needs work, but the layout of the add isn't horrible. add a layer mask to the reflection, otherwise it just looks weird, you may also want to add a tiny gaus blur, because reflections are never perfect.

yea, the IMB text on the top right i used from a preview on a font site since our school doenst let us download anything. i tried getting it as big as possible without any pixelation, but that didnt really work...
thanks for the reflection tip, i totally blanked out on how to do that lol.
anything else thats good/bad/whatever?

the reflection also doesn't line up exactally with the headphones!

it looks pretty good overall. the layout is decent. just fix the reflection

I think the layout / alignment needs work..

"Reinforced headband is durable, ensuring the user that it will never break"
badddd idea.
For a start in real life you'd be pulled up to Trade Standards for that - because obviously in some situations they're going to break, and that looks too much like a promise - I know you're interested in crit on layout more, but choice of words can be just as important in selling a product, which is from the sound of it what your assignment was about - making an advertisement to sell a product.
I think that particular product would have benefited from a more futuristic advert, with some gentle silver/gray gradiation.
Not bad though, keep it up
