OK that didnt really scare me :P
The blur wont work there, and the blood quality isn't good enough. The room is too big to make it scary with just a grayscale a darkness and some blood. You should try a more dim/small place/room and put more than just some blood. Make stuff rusty etc.

it was slight sarcazm lol but yea, i personaly thing the blood looks realistic =/ but fair enough and it isnt just grey scale and darkness its a few layers messed about with the contrast bit of brushing, cant remeber wat else i did, but yea it aint nothing special, and i dont know how to make stuff rusty maybe i sould start reading tuts, im just way to lazy, havnt read 1 in my life, i just mess about and teach myself.

    thx for the comment anyway

It doesn't do anything for me, you did some bluring that threw some blood on the wall. O yeah, and you added contrast and levels, sorry, this doesn't really have a purpose in my opinion, and is much more of experiementation than a purposeful manipulation.

    lol yea nice idea heron.

and yea i spose ur right silenced, but i felt thats all i wanted to do to this, i wanted it to look like that pretty much, i mean, does something have to be Uber brushed with 321 layers to be art? cant it just have a little bit done to it?..=/

Not at all, I will never say that, nor have I ever, there's plenty of different forms, I just don't think a ton was done to this manipulation. Of course it matters how you define manipulation, is it a stunning change, or just something very little that makes it manipulated.
