Nothing really catches me on this one.... the transition from black to the background is really short, and seems "cut off", not literally.... if it were a bit longer, it'd remind me of a void a bit more...

and the left part of the render just fades out on top, that doesnt really appeal to me.....

lighting is good though, kudos to the render too....

I'm going to beat the shit out of your grammar teacher.

" I thought it came out good." Is not correct you ****tard, it's "I thought it came out well." You dolt.

About the piece, it's interesting, but there's so much empty space inside of it, the upper right has nothing, and the render placement and size is mediocre at best. I guess I'm just not feelin' it overall, especially compared to your other work.

Also the transitions just don't flow very well.

Void basically means empty, which perfectly describes this. I know it might be simple, but its meant to be that way. I have learned that being complex in the profesional world sometimes doesn't help. I recently went around my town and asked people if they would like to have a website or would like to buy a print of my art and I showed them my art and some of my templates. They said that the more abstract (usually the ones with whored brushing and the infamous space exploding object) it was, the more they did not like it. They said that if I were to be more simple, yet have nice flow and style, that they would buy. This piece is really an expirement to get more simplistic, yet keep the flow there. I showed my art teacher as well and she said that this showed much more flow and actually more abstract then the others, and she liked it. Coming from a teacher that has been creating art, and judging art, that means a lot to me. Now for the online communites, they did not like the lack of complexity, or the empty-ness. I know I was going to get replies like this, and I appreciate them as well.
