As they say, easy does it so this is a very easy tweasy tutorial, but the effect that comes out is quite nice. This is wad we can get at the end:

    These are the steps:

Create a new 500x500 white page

Filter>render>clouds (note, do NOT use difference clouds!!&#33

Go to filter>render>lightning effects. Use a setting of 24 or near there. Dont use things like 100 or 1, the effect wont come out. This is one of the tutorials that are more precise. Oh yeah, use omni

Apply a few times using ctrl-f.

Then, you are finshed, although you can have a few more additions, such as:
    a lens flare

    make it into a sig:

Personally feel that it would make a good webpage background.

(ya dont expect me to design a whole new site for this rite!?!?&#33

By the way, if you cleverly notice a 'striking resemblance" with seasonalweasel's tut on fire one, i muz say, it is indeed very similar, but i would like to say that I created this tut b4 i saw his one, only at that time my image posting service wasnt up, so i couldnt post. (which means that i did not copy his <i'd swear if im not a christian>)If you seriously need to know, duplicate a layer of that and make one red and the other yellow, then color dodge them together. (P.S. i am not putting a pic coz you can check his tut.) If you seriously dont believe that this is an original, then all that i can say that juz treat this as a... modification.
