I wanted her eyes to look as if they had some sort of surreal smoke coming out of them. How do you suggest I blend it better?

@starcraft- yeah starting at the sig for a second too long does make your eyes bleed =)

    nah jk

If you wanted a kind of smokey effect on the eyes, make sure you can still see the eyes =D right now it looks like one of them games where some guy is getting blown from the inside

There are many ways of blending...
Either get the magic tool, with the render layer selected, hold shift (i think) and click the places where the render hasn't filled up, then with the bits selected right click> Feather and set how much px you want the feather to do (the higher the number and stronger the feathering) and then click ok, click Backspace to do the continous feathering again...

There is also the method of using masks- some times one way works better than the other, such as in my sig i used a mask on the hair and blended that in but if i tryed using the magic stick way it wouldn't work too good

    so yeah happy reading

Nice try. I'd suggest using different colors for your signatures and make the BG more interesting by experimenting different ways of brushing. Maybe just a little bit more depth is needed for the BG as well. As Tikkitang said, render needs to be blended in more and tone down the brightness of some areas! They're just to bright.

The text also needs some improvement, I think you should get rid of that brightness from the text because it's just too bright for you to look at. Don't really have any comments on the "smoke" from her eyes. Read some more tutorials and experiment around, I'm sure you'll improve in no time

Ugh, I think I made it worse.

    That render is terrible.
