is that how the render is? it looks like you took the outline of hte render then filled it in or something, could you post the original render?

nice art. i personally like the cel-shaded style of the render.
2 suggestions tho:
1. 1 pixel black border
2. make the glowy thing a goldish color similar to that of the render

well, it's just a function
absolute (since abs(); is too short)
abs stands for absolute, and it does what it says..
abs(30); will return 30.
abs(-30); will also return 30
abs(-5); will return 5, and so on..
So, abs(); (or absolute() will make any negative number into the corresponding positive number.
