zomg you made those trees with the pen tool? lol jk!

its awsome, the only thing that needs work is where the flower starts, needs blending or something, but ull prob fix that since ur working on it lol.

It's art. Since when does an art piece have to follow any guidelines or patterns? Besides, I can see a repeating shape in there, so it isn't really random

Anyway, its pretty cool so far. There are a couple areas that you need to continue working on (which obviously you will). Where the stem meets the flower and where the stem comes from behind the tree. I'd say that it shouldn't come from behind the tree. I think itd be really interesting if you had the stem grow out of the ground, but put some shapes that are semi-vectorish and semi-photo realistic around the base of the stem so that the photo "fades" into the flower. Like, as your eyes approach the stem, things become less of a photo and more like the style that you're creating the flower. Hopefully that made some sense.

I dunno...i don't really feel for pieces like this, with just pen tool shapes, unless it's a nicely done abstract piece like Vrael makes with textures sometimes or gradients and shapes cut into them, etc to make them look more interesting. Pen tool shapes like this look sort of cheap and childish to me...
