Seems 'Sprite sigs' are the new trend, and since I had never done one before, I figured why not give it a whirl.
Ryu/Ken sprites are, sadly, the only ones i could find. And thats after whoring Google and Yahoo. Seems everyone except me can find them.

None the less, the first version was the original outcome. The second version is a screenshot of the first, while in photoshop, since for some reason everything always appears atleast three times darker in PS for me. Gets rather annoying. You'll notice the top/bottom border on v2 is thicker, like the now overused trend that I refer to as the "theatre" look. I assure you this was by accident. When cropping the screenshot in photoshop, it seems i missed the edges, and didn't care enough to go back.

I prefer the darker of the two.

Edit: I should add that after looking at two "Energy Ball" tutorials, and being unable to use either of the products due to their requirement of a background, i was forced to think up my own method. Which is why it looks kinda crappy.

I like the first one better. Brighter colors.

Had the time to whip one up. Don't really have anything to say about it.
    C&C Welcomed, as always.
