    i have to say that the explanation given in this thread is a very good starting point. But as with so many other things, the one true way to really master a tool, is to use it, use it, and then use it some more.

    I've never used the pen tool...

    It's just never felt like something that could contribute to my style of art, in a way. I'll probably try to work with it the next time I open photoshop though... it never hurts to expand your palette.

    wot u wantin to use it 4? selecting parts of a stock? rendering? lol, i use it a lot wit my car mods, it's a lot better than the lasso. Theres a tut on this website thats very useful. i'll try and find it if ur still wondering how 2 master it
