I never really was a sig-artist - too claustrophobic in their size - but I post here none-the-less. Also, they always seem watered down from tutorials, big lack of creativity and originality.

yeh tuts suck... and to be fair on Jackson sigs dont have as space for creativity as LPs but then again alot of LPs are kinda generic.

anyway back on topic. i dont really like the first and it seems very unfinished. but i like the second... i could easily see it as a poster or something... nice work... also welcome

I don't think you get that I was admitting defeat in that post, but you seem to want to school me or something, so I'll follow your orders. There's some really great work in that selection.

What I meant before was that signatures are consistently in the smallest canvas possible and contain a render, background, and text, and almost always conceived in that order. Can you argue that's not pushed in just about every "full sig" tutorial? I'm not arguing that it can't look amazing if it's through a tutorial. I guess I was wrong about there being a big lack of creativity, and thank you for pointing that out, even if it did feel condescending to me.

Also, I'm not an artist. I like being sparse, it's just my taste. I wanted to get some more opinions on these to see if my taste was even worth enjoying. My second guessing was right, I need to work on them more. Even if it isn't positive feedback, echoing what I mentioned in the post is hardly constructive criticism.
