So I spent about an hour revisiting Nationalsigleague.com. I haven't been there since February of 05. I had forgotten why I left, but within an hour, of course, I knew why.

Add that with the fact I got an "alert" because I corrected the spelling of an admin (he said "your" when "you're" was the necessary term), and you have one hellhole that's more depressing than Auschwitz-Birkenau and twice as fascist.

Now, I'm not going to say that the fact that they graded me poorly is what pissed me off. I expected that. What bothers me is that the site is literally against everything art stands for.


You can't compete with art. It's ludicrous to say so. Art is not a measurable statistic. Art was not meant to be openly categorized by pompous, wrinkly assholes that sit on their elitist pedestals. Art is about improvement and personal exploration. Dicks like them are the sole reason that online signature making lacks creative progression.


Thus, I now take back any negative feedback I gave to C-X. This place kicks ass. Fuck Nationalsigleague.

Ein i completly agree. thats half the reason i want CX to get going. So we can be any easy going bunch who just like art. whatever style and so we can apriciate the effort put in by people of all levels to art. good to hear someone else sharing my views.

Haha, yeah, you're temp. banned. NSL is the anus hole of graphical websites. It's the slum of a city. It's full of egotistical, talentless freaks.
It, along with TheOnlyFathom.net, was what everyone strived to be apart of, only to be shit on down the road.

Art shouldn't be a competition, but rather an enjoyment for everyone. The NSL is just a site full of scums who illegally downloaded Photoshop, and slapped something together that comprises of some stupid render (usually a girl or sprite) with a C4D mixed in somewhere. On top of that the site itself is a breeding ground of incorrect information. Since when did an artist have to put a sprite in his work to make it look good? According to the NSL, you can't be pro, unless you follow the "Rules of Tags" as I like to call it.

From the reception you have been getting since your great return, I think people just don't like you. I don't know you and I don't like you. You know....
NSL can use another person like you. You would fit in well there. Lets just hope that our new members don't look at you and think that CX is like NSL, because it is not. The only reason I keep coming back is because I'm hoping it turns out like DI(rest in piece) a great place to be and talk to your friends. If you are any indication of this place then I wish CX good luck in getting new members.
