Cross-lines help

ive forgotten how to do the crosslines on the sigs like in the previous sig ive made here........



anybody fill me in again how to do this

patterns... make a small canvas... say 5x5 and take a 1px square brush and make a diagonal line throught the middle of it... then go edit>define pattern, give it a name... and hit "save" (i think anyway lol).

then when you want to put it in, make a new layer and make a selection of where you want the scanlines or whatever to go and while still on the selection tool right click and go fill pattern, and then select your pattern.
