 So... What happened here?
hey, so I was a member here a long time ago. maybe 2003 or 20004 or so, hmmm seems like a long time ago, I don't really remember. can climb-x be that old?
the site was just getting big with new people registering everyday, and the member number progressively increasing. forums were all fancy with custom templates and such, with a bunch of event/contest type things going. what has gone down these past few years that changed things?
I remember there were some mods or admins that posted, some were named like assassin, and there was this krazy guy (or kr4zy, dunno), metal, red something. Has anyone been here for so long and stuck to this site to give me a brief rundown of the history? I'm just curious.
I'm not sure why I came here today, but I wanted to look around.

um... basic history... metal sold the site... the person he sold it to was a wanker, who just wanted to make money... and he pretty much destroyed the site. It was then sold to the current owner (John - who we havent seen for ages tbh) and has been in this pittyfull state ever since.

Actually there was a guy inbetween that, but yeah, that's pretty much the story.

jeez didnt realize how popular this place actually was. like i knew it was popular but not that popular

It's not like we can stage a coup or anything, John is the legal owner of the site - he paid for it.

there was a guy in bettween metal and mtb?? or in between mtb and john?? :S
and yeh john owns it... i think he paid something like $2000 for it too... so i personaly dont have the money to buy it off him... if we have any rich buggers here... you can go ahead and try XD
