I draw Surrealism - this is my latest complete work. It was finished in February and I've been working (ever so slowly) on another ink drawing on and off ever since. I'll post it when I'm done!

I disagree backgrounds aren't always needed.

They can distract from what is really going on.

And this piece isn't in need of a background - it's a surreal, abstract piece. Why would it need one? Art can be literally anything you want it to be, it's an outlet for emotion; I have no idea what your art teacher was getting at, Garis! x)
