Everyone starts somewhere mate. I think you should read a few tuts from this site, they will get you on the right track.

those smoke effects by the leaves on the bottom right are sweet. lol the colourful scheme gives it a hippie effect. but yeah as ppl sed read up some tuts and stuff so u can learn the basics. everyone starts somewhere, and dont worry we wont bash u.

*Bash Bash* No, really.. a lot of people that are new to photoshop, are like.. "shit, bad critics, those fuckers, imma kill them, i pwn in PS ffs"
Bad comments/critics about your work, is good comments/critics, it just shows what you lack, and should work on, and of course, that makes you better, it might take a while, it usually does that to everyone before they get a hang of it, but be sure to read some tuts and stuff, and you WILL get better, believe me..

You should start by working with renders. You can get renders easily from planetrenders.net.
If you sign up you can get all the renders for free and I'd say just about every person on this forum has used planet renders at one time or another.

Sig wise your gonna want to bring your sizing down a lot. WHen you are still learning it is better to have smaller sig sizes cause then they look fuller easier. I would try to stay around 360 x 130.

Not bad though. Looks like you have some nice ideas on the backgorund and stuff, you just need to read some tuts to pick up the techniques they use.

My first stuff was much worse than this. for sure.
