    Default painting wip

    my first painting in photoshop, any tips? and also, is a tablet better for this kind of work? cause I'm planning on getting one.

    Seems decent enough why print screen though?

    Your tones seem good, i'd get a tablet if i were you though. Mine helps alot.

    looks decent Id definately get a tablet for this kinda works, makes everything way easier..

    Also id add a bit more texture to the hair, it look too flat but keep it up!

    As said a tablet will help you loads.

    Liking what you have done so far looking forward to the end results.

    Nice, but use as many brushes as you can ( for texture ) starting large, working your way down.

    Don't work TOO neat.

    And remember the directions of brush strokes will affect how your image looks.

    Also - Don't be too afraid to use brushes that stand out a little more, and to be using more light.

    As you build everything up it will have a really nice textured look thsi way

    And a tablet ... once you use one you won't use a mouse again.

    One more thing... you want to be working on a canvas around 5x as big as that.

    haha thats like awesome on a mouse xD haha cant figure out how you manage to draw with it ;p defently wacom tablet dude looks sweet so far.

    thanks for the comments and tips guys I'll buy myself a tablet this week or borrow my friend's huge tablet that's collecting dust right now haha
