    Default New to Photoshop

I've made a total of 4 sigs in Photoshop over the last few days, previously I messed about with paintshop and paint (yes! I did).

I decided to try make some signatures of beautiful women, I would love if you could give me some pointers on these two... what I should and shouldn't do etc

    thank you!

I know the text sucks... I'm working on that, and still haven't figured out how to get a decent border on them

If this is the first time you've used Photoshop then I'd say pretty impressive or you're just saying that so no one criticizes too hard :P

Lighting is very good on both and you've created depth.
The sides are somewhat empty though and that comes from placing your render (or focal) in the middle of the sig.

Your canvas is a bit big, so you're gonna have to fill that empty with something, either C4Ds, brushes or maybe blacken the sides some at least.

    Thanks for the comments

Yes I only started using Photoshop about 2 weeks ago, for the first week I just got used to where things were (I still can't find half the things I want!). But thanks to some of the basic tutorials I managed to blunder my way through.

In these two signatures I purely used layers and smudging and a few gradients. I added a single fractal to each to add a little interest. Oh and tried out Topaz on the second one.

I'm a bit unsure of brushes and how to work with c4ds in photoshop, so thats my next intended practice

Get ready for a splatter-fest, c4d whored thingy! hee
