This isn't a bad c4d. That gloss effect is a bit over-used on c4d's though. A lot of people are looking for less glossy ones now to go into vector-like sigs.

Go on MSn some time and let me teach you to make effect c4d's, there pretty simple and i think you'll get a good effect out of them.
