Default how make any photo look pro in 30 secs

This is a small thing iv found over the short time iv been "Photoshopping", im not sure if everyone knows this but here we go:-

This "effect" will make the colours in a photo more vibrant and give the photo and overall more professional look.

I will show you how to go from this:

    To this:

    in less than 30 secs

Pull up any stock/photo you want

    "Ctrl+A" then "Ctrl+C" then "Ctrl+N" "enter" then "Ctrl+V" twice

On the top layer/duplicate, go to filter>blur>gaussian blur set the blur to 4.8

    set the layer to "overlay"

create a new blank layer and click "Ctrl+A" make sure the foreground colour is black the go to edit>stoke and set a border size appropriate to the size of the image

and there you go all done

this may take a bit longer the first time but after a while you will get used to it and be able to do it quicker and quicker

Thanks for reading hope this has been a help to someone

isnt the first one pro already b.c someone has set up lighting and everything seems to work, but the one you did just make it look blurry and over contrasted. you should use this tut on something like mystic or medieval that would work.

the original looks more "professional." the second is a specific effect for something like what b said.

this effect works also without the blur and setting the duplicate layer to overlay
    makes the colours more rich

    Wow, Nice.
    I like it.
And if it's too blurry, Can't you just set the Gaussian Blur lower?
