    What do you think?

It looks smooth and formal, but the "invent" text at the cube makes me a little distracted.
    Play with it a little.

I find my eye banging (yes, banging) back and forth between the square and the name.

To be completely honest there isn't much about the design that I do like. The unspaced name makes it read more like "inversiong raphics". The inverted text in the square makes it look like the split words should spell something else, but they don't. The name Inversion Graphics is pretty long, but there is no break in the flow. It turns into one big tongue twister.

I think you can start over and get a much clearer, more defining logo. If I didn't think you could do it, i wouldn't bother commenting.

Pretty much everything he said I second. Only I think I should add more.

I assume inversiongraphics is your design identity or alias, or something. The first thing I see that you shouldn't do (at least not in this decade) is to use an active term, like graphics or studios, or designs. It may be a good idea to be direct about your services, but the very use of the words is so cliched and so played out that it's almost ridiculous. May want to steer clear of that.

Next thing I see 43 hit on a bit. The icon square really makes it difficult to enjoy the logo. I can see the relation of "inversion" via the square, but SURELY you could come up with a more original way to present the concept. A square is great and minimal and all, but it's almost pointless and tacky in addition to the text.

The subtitle you crammed into the box is the last thing on my list. Subtitles are meant to extend the logo or name brand by giving it meaning and direction. If google were to have a subtitle, they might say "Search for something" or something like that. I'm not quite fond of the attempt to make the subtitle part of the icon. That's confusing and somewhat annoying really. If you are going to use this element in your design, it needs to be in plan view (and not falling off a box) and given some sort of usability.

In essence, if you were to remove the subtitle altogether (OR take it out of the box), the box literally serves no purpose. So that should put things into perspective for you in terms of what you might use an element of your logo. Now don't get me wrong, squares are cool. But the execution of your logo needs to be rethought in that you need to understand what you want to express with the logo, and then ensure that the logo does just that, and nothing more.

http://logopond.com/ is a great resource for logo design. If anything, you can see some of those logos and possibly come up with ways to spice this logo up. Give it a creative boost, and make it yours.

    Gl!
