i think it's O.k
but the green brushes shouldn't be over him
maybe you could place the splatter brushes a bit closer to him, so you get more focal
further it's pretty descent

It's good but, not perfect one reason may be as he sticks out Too much there is a fine balance between sticking out and being lost into a background. your one stick 'OUT' too much, also there isn't much depth into Him it's sort of like you got a render put a gradient as abckground added filters and effects, a bit of splatter and then hey presto sorted. :P Sorry but thats my feelings. On the whole nice work and just try to Improve off what you had before I Hope this helped. One other Thing Work on the Text I know it's hard to get the text correct but ask someone to help you. ¬CnC off

Listen to what flatty and Deco say, they got it pretty much right.
Keep the effects on him cleaner because the focal isn't strong.
Text is grrrr. (That means bad) Is Master Chief a fancy kind of guy? Nope. He is an ass-kicking-flood-killing maniac with a gun, get a grungy font.

Oh Ptka, shame shame, DEFAULT FONTS FTW. actually its a preference, whatever you like more, just not that miss curly curl font there...
also work on text placement
REFER DIRECTLY TO PAPA'S TEXT TUT. THIS IS WHAT I SHALL SAY FOREVER AND EVER.
Try doing a few more tuts and pay particular attention to depth and blending along with effect placement.
