ok when i try to make sigs i always have my render then some effects/brushes round it however after that i always have just empty space and no bg

can anyone tell me a good technique to get bg's?

ok so u watn bg's for ur sig umm lemme think. ok

1) C4d's and some splatters are best for bg when u want to concentrate only on render
2) Get another stock and paste it in and blend ur render in
3) Dont render the stock use the stock and concentrate on focal
4) Its not necessary that u always render a stock. u can make a sig from the stock itself.

All this talk of Renders and C4Ds gets on my nerves so much sometimes...
It's cutting out, and a 3D Render. Rendering is not cutting out an image, and C4Ds are called that because Cinema4D is a popular application they're made on - it's not a definitive name.

layin down the law. but yeah try making your background first then adding everything in the way things look with your background. smudging and filters are really ez and good ways to start with backgrounds.
