theyare all too blurry, but i like v2; much more 'apocalyptic' feel.

Ehm first of all i would make them mroe forum friendly, try making them smaller and more sharp. The bg looks pretty cool, but the planet looks fake and dull try making it look a bit more real, ehm i just resized this in my own photoshop and the bg really looks good. i like the blue most, not the most apocalypse looking but it just fits the planet better,

lol its really big so it can stay fairly high quality for people with big screens

and yeah its a bit blurry cuz the origional image i used to make the planet was low res so i might be trying it again sometime with a better pic =]

but hey it aint better quality for us with big screens when its so blurry, i would still like to see it smaller. And when making a planet try not to use only 1 texture

lmao i never actually thought of that

once i find a tutorial on how to make a decent bg im going to retry it and yeah ill use more than 1 texture next time

its just mostly bad quality because i had to sphereize it 200% to get the effect lol

making a planet is the most easiest thing
    u just need 3-4 textures
i dont agree with daemon for 'huge texture pics'
wat i do normally to make a planet is
get a normal texture, open it up in the ps, Edit>>Define Pattern.
Then again in my planet pic, take a huge round soft brush , then Brush settings and click Texture. Then choose the texture pattern and brush it over ur planet. Easy.
