Quick Basket Ball Button Tutorial

Basic Ball tutorial:

this is the easiest way ive seen to make an effective looking ball.

make a new image, i made 80 * 80 pixel then zoomed right in to 400%.
first draw a circle... hold shift to make it a perfect circle.



after this , select the circle (quick way is ctrl + click on layer)
then get a rather large soft brush ( roughly a bit under half the size of the actual circle) and change ur colours back to black and white.

with black selected on the bottom right side of the circle paint over just the edge going a little bit around.



when uve done that reduce ur brush size and change the colour to white.
now draw a small white curved line across the opposite corner. then dop it off by dotting white in the direct centre of the line.



you should end up with something like this when youve zoomed out.

Nice, definitely 3d but it would be cooler if you could try to add texture like taco said and maybe some lines for the bball.

lol it was never ment to be a basketball , the name was changed by taco cause it was orange i think
