Calendar Art
I'm working on a school project, a 12-month calendar. It will have 6 weapons and 6 cars. Designed in Illustrator and final touches in Photoshop. Here is one of the designs, let me know what you guys think.

This one I still need to add more color and add a stat box.

Its okay but doesnt a calander have to have days on it?
Nice pen tooling. The vignetting around the sides is ruing it, Would be betetr with a grungy etxture than darkening.

yeah it does have dates, that is only the top part of the calendar, the bottom will have the weeks/days. I'm not done designing the dates yet, saving that for last.

I havent designed a claender, but i gotta be hoest soudns like your approaching this wrong. first thing you have to go for is Functionallity. If you dont have dates, then ther eis no point for the top part of the calender. right now kinda feels liek your basing it aroudn your lp's, when rly it should eb based aorudn the calender itself.
But i donno i never made a calender.

Well have you seen those calendars with an image on top the top page and the dates on the bottom page? The reason I want to save the dates for last is I will be giving themes to certain months. Like October will be have a black and orange with a grunge theme. But first I would like to have the graphics, then choose themes. I already created a basic layout, it doesn't have much of what I want it to have. Like if it's St. Patricks day I will have a 4-leaf clover next to the date.

Looks nice and clean.
The text is difficult to read. try increasing the contrast between the text and its surroundings.
