    Default Birthday invitation

    Hello all,
It is my sisters birthday soon and I'm making her some birthday invitations on CS3 for her to give to her friends. Anyone got any ideas on how I could go about doing it?
Any comments are very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Yeah, can't give you any ideas or suggestions unless we know the age. :P

She's going to be 11 this year. The party is going to be for the cinema's to watch a film of her choice, not quite sure yet..She wants to see that 17 again but her birthday is in a months time.

I would start by reading as many tutorials as you can.. pick a style.. I would go with vector personally. Then come up with 3-4 different concepts which you can put on the cards. They should be simple, and a good one would be appropriate for all ages.

    What direction were you considering?

I would also consider using adobe indesign to determine the overall layout. Indesign is for print what dreamweaver is for the web. Makes putting together a project like this a lot simpler, as opposed to working with a page size canvas directly in photoshop or illustrator.

Okay, thanks for the comments guys, Solaris I don't have a clue what your talking about "Adobe Indesign" :P I've used Dreamweaver before and I hated it so if Indesign is similar then it's most likely I'll hate that too. I'll stick to Photoshop.

indesign is a print media program. It's basically photoshop, but makes it easy to print things.
