need help with this or tips

Hey guys, i was creating sigs way back then 5 years ago^^ now my clan asked me if i wanted to make them some sigs. well im reading all kinds of tutorials downloading brushes and what if needed^^

now i got a question or if someone could help me/show me how i can creat something like this.




as u can see he has 2 flames in his hand 2 diff colors i tried to remake them with brushes but no chance^^ i cant get the colors matching or the flames. cutting the flames out of the image wouldnt look good i guess.

Are you sure those aren't brushes? Try flame brushes on google bet one of those pops up. Looks awfully like a brush tbh.

If it isn't, i'd start with a new layer and paint two dots that you want to be the flames. then use the smudge tool and the liquify tool to make that flame shape. The using a black painted layer set to linear dodge paint white a bit in the middle and smudge it out again. that should do the trick if done right. but try finding the brushes for ti first, because its a lot easier and less work if you do..

i dont know if its made by a brush its a wallpaper of a korean MMO that i played. but ill try to use your advice thanks.

You can probably find those brushes or even better ones at DeviantArt. Doesn't look terribly complicated.

well its hard for me to do them lol after only 2 days working with cs4^^ could u try and remake em and up em as pgn file? would be cool. ill try and up em to compare

search deviantart.com for some brushes. they got tons

after looking at it. i wouldnt even try to make the same thing cuz its done very poorly imo. make some random shapes with the pen tool then just use the liquify filter to make some cool flame looking shapes. or you could use da and find some brushes and make your own thing
