Illustrator: The Beginning

Okay, in order to keep my mind turning over, I've decided to try to learn how to use Illustrator. I'm proficient in Photoshop and DreamWeaver, competent in Flash and Premiere Pro. However, I'm pretty much an Illustrator virgin. Had a play around in it for a few hours when I first got it, and that's about it.

I know some of my fellow 'Voiders are adept at Illustrator, and a few are even good enough to be considered geniuses.

Anyway, long story short: Anyone know any tutorials, websites or anything of that nature that can get me started? Something that gives a good explanation to all the tools, how to work with the canvas and so on, so I can get a head start.

Adobe offers a surprisingly useful batch of tutorials on all of the software in the CS4 suite.

Illustrator is a program that will seem invaluable compared to Photoshop, but if you keep playing around with it, you'll get the hang of it in no time.
