First drawings since high school.
When I was in highschool, like any normal person, I drew anime-style characters instead of paying attention in class. I used to draw very mediocre characters. I pretty must parted ways with drawing in 2004 when I was no longer attending school and had more "important" things to do (i.e. Partying) So four creativity-less years passed and in 2008 I drew something that even amazed me, for the mere fact that after 4 years of no practice, turned out to be the best thing I've EVER drawn...Still though I can see a million and one problems with this image that I want to fix. I spent all of my time on the body and by the time i made it to the head, I sort of said, "screw it" and half-assed it severely. I know her body appears to have extremely long proportions, which were intended. She was so long infact that I had to tape two pieces of paper together to finish drawing her. However I did notice that the leg in the foreground is signifcantly shorter than the leg in the background. Her hips aren't showing enough of an angle to show how her leg may be dropping down in the back to make up for this. But, here it is!
I plan to go back and do something different with the face in photoshop...as to not completely destroy the pencil version of this drawing.
Forgive me for my horrible Scan Quality (i'm still figuring the damn thing out)

The second of these is from earlier this year when I played this stupid game called Maple Story for a few months. I had a character named Heikkoa (supposed to have been Scandinavian, not Japanese) She weilded a crossbow and had pale white skin and black hair. She was supposed to have been more or less my "black metal" character on the game. But if anyone knows of this game, it's hard to tell such a thing from a tiny little pixelated character. So I drew this rendering of what I wanted her to look like.
Unfortunately this is the only drawing I've done of her, and it is kind of crappy that I only drew her from behind (that is just the course the picture took as I started to draw).

And again I see quite a few problems with this drawing, more than in the first. Her right wing is practically on her spine, and not so much on her right shoulder where it should be. I already know I suck at drawing feathers, but it still seems to be an improvement from previous works. I'm fairly happy with the outfit and the way the hands turned out (I've always had alot of trouble with them). I know I did not draw her boots, as I ran out of paper...I could probably do those later on; just not sure whether or not to draw them on the computer or attempt them on paper.
