Isolation. Pretty simple to see the motive behind the title. I believe this was a stock picture from deviantArt... I don't remember.

    EDIT: BTW, if you have noticed, I need some new brushes <_< I'll probably try to make some later tonight :huh:

    Dude.. you missed the point of the whole peace of art! The title is isolation. The tree is isolated by the rest of the world. Just like some of us...stuck in between of that what society tells us to be. Try to think a little rick. {/rant}

    Good work! I love the meaning. I like the title. Good work! A 9/10 for sure.

    I disagree. I like the top of the image...adds a digusted look of the rest of the "world".

    i wasnt saying i didnt like it, its jsut the brush is too dark and pixelated and bold etc etc, you should try to make it blend into the bg but still look grungy

    Very nice, like how you added more colour to the tree to represent its distance from everything else, how things are so different to it and how much it is isolated. Great theory and wonderful style.

    Yeah the brushes are overdone in my own opinion, (yes im critisizing my own work, I do it often =D) and I need to trim up around the tree so the grass behind it which shouldn't be affected isn't. I may also try to get away from the grunge border thing, depends on the mood I'm in I guess.

    Thanks for the comments, means a lot to see what you guys like/dislike.

    EDIT: Also, tell me what you think about me adding a lighting effect around the tree, sorta like a spotlight from the forest canopy or something of the sorts. I think it could go either way (good/bad) so that's why I didn't incorporate it into this version of the peice.
