I hate the blending / smoothness in this portrait and it gets worse each time I look at it :P Looks better irl at least ^^

I know it looks a bit off aswell in general, but I Can blame some of it on my selection of reference pic. It was just weird. Feel free to throw me some sweet ref-pictures of just anything, something you'll believe will be hard for me to accoplish ;D

do you mean flat as in bad shading or flat as squished, as in the shape?
