It's not bad, but the background could have something else in it, slightly boring.
I like the streak of light, but it almost colours the face, so moving it down a bit might do some good.
Also get that text out of the corner. :P

I like them both but the space on the right needs filling. The text draws away attention from the render so fix it. The first one is really mono but the second has more colour so V2 got my vote.
