have you read one of the color/shading tutorials? its basicly the shading that makes it looks realistic, it looks cute but the simple colors could be improved especially the eyes

MUCH better!
But it is very dark, could be slightly lighter.
Shading is great now but you could have more shades on the colours, this is better than the first, but it's only two colours, you could have 4-5.

when you have a good drawing, you can colour betterxD
