Yep Its like my first but looks alot better and alot more things to it.
First of all you need a certain brush that you can get at http://deviantart.com
Well it makes springy type things.
1: get the brush and cover the whole canvas with it in a straight direction
Pic of it:http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y14...2explainer.jpg
2: go to image, adjustments, hue saturation and choose a colour you like

3: go to filter, pixeulate, mezzotint and choose coarse dots.

4: Now go to Filter, Blur Radial Blur (100 zoom, best)
5: Now go to Images, Adjustments, Invert
6: your basically done but you got one more thing to do. Go to Filters, Render, lens flare and choose the third box and place it inside the middle circle

7: final two results i got using differnet colours:
a:
b:
New background after chroming it:
Anywayz this is my tut hope you like it
PS: SORRY MY TUTS SUX but ive been using it for about 8 hours now( over 2  days)

nice effect although the vortex thing has to many variants
-
eh... haven't really tried it, but i not sure, from what i see the brush looks pretty redundant coz it seems you could get a same effect from mezzotint? but anyway, you should give the specific address for the brush, devianart has a lot of brushes good try anyway
-
i posted a tut a while ago that's almost exactly the same result....and it takes about half the time. but anyways nj i guess?
-
It could be more helpfull if you just added some pictures over you work
-
I like it , and like Stalin says , the vortex has many variants , but this doens't look like a vortex at all
-
Ok I see the pictures now and its a nice work you did B)
-
cool but theres a simpler way using a star gradient, extruding and hue/saturation
-
i think "a" looks better
there is just too much color contrast in "b"
cool tut but can be done easier as graphicPunk says...
-
yo man indeed nice tut
i think that u should add some more imgs for help
also try to add some colour or add border man it looks good also if u create
for a sig about 250x110
i f u like try it and post it
:P
