    I've been looking around and this site is big.
    Lot's of tutorials and well skilled signatures.

    ok the canvas is too big to start of with so try a smaller size such as 400x120 or something along them lines. stop using grunge brushes if unless you know how to incorporate them .(hi). Read lots of tutorials and then make another tag

    Welcome to the Void. Agree with SSSK, use a smaller canvas. If your getting hang of Photoshop my tutorial (in my signature) is very basic and easy to follow. If you need any help, just ask!
