Inspired Realty
Working with a client who wanted a clean, sleek logo for a realtor services website. They are basically providing realtors big and small with an avenue of organizational services ranging from listings of various properties, to customization of client base.
I wanted to portray the "inspired" theme more than anything else, so I went with a cloud image. Hopefully I avoided the cliche that accompanies those niche words.
The first concept dealt directly with the client service type. Since it was a realtor services website, I didn't want to throw a roof shape on it and call it done. It's a much broader spectrum than that. So thought...skyscrapers would be more appropriate. Given that the client deals with networking, exchange of data and information, empowering realtors, tall skyscrapers could imbue that sort of persona. So that became this:

I thought I could get a little more general, based on the type of services this company is providing. And that resulted in this:

Hearing from the client tomorrow to see what happens next.

on the first one, i did say you got the company logo right presuming that they are realtor's in business of properties and organizations. The skyscraper is a good choice to show huge n vast empire, Although i did say the text is off there,
Since you wanted more focus on the word Inspired, i think you should lower the fontsize of reality. moreover bring it closer to the clouds n skyscrapers.
And if posible get rid of the jagged edges on the logo, make it smooth, that will be more appealing.
the second one's meh imo

I saw what you meant by the jagged edges. I updated the 2nd logo with a new revision. Am working on the typo on the first logo.

Met with the client again this morning and a bit last night, and chose a different direction. More abstract than before, so going to be hopefully finishing up today.
The idea was to be a byproduct of "service", as with a scuff of a shoe, a daub of paint. The appearance is intended to be fresh, as though it were wet.
Faint tilt with text.

No tilt.

Project is a done deal. Client went with the non-tilted paint daub logo.

Was gonna say I felt the font was a little "childish" in nature..not sure if that's a great description, just didn't look serious enough, but you closed the deal, so as long as the client was happy, that's what counts

The client posed a fairly interesting brand idea. The use of paint refers to "realty" or dealing with homes. The use of a "daub" as opposed to drops or a splash refers to the persona of "services rendered", as you might see when a painter is at work on the exterior of a home.
As for the typography, I wanted something sleek and clean enough to fit the style of the logo. The client was intent on having something that "shined", so I wasn't going to throw in a blocky bold text. Rounded edges seemed to be the way to go.
