Soul Calibur IV - Hilde and Xianghua
So using the same tutorial for both, I came up with two different style sigs.
Hilde

Xianghua

Hmm.. I think maybe that the sig needs to have less of a contrast cos it cuts my eyes a bit but its a good job still. I think you should clip mask or something on negative spaces of the sig. I love the smudging, it's awesome.
Edit: Oh, and ease up on those c4ds, cos it looks abit messy with it.

Thanks alot! The Xianghua sig is pretty c4d heavy , I could probably erase some of the pink bubbles to ease up on it, but i really like how floaty and pretty they make her look. Also, the chinese characters are her actual name, in chinese.
So no one else in this place has any comments?

its a lil messy :/ and the top one needs some deth imo but really good sigs maybe make the bottom one a little smaller tho xD
-
Why should the bottom one be smaller?
And as for the depth do you have any suggestions on how to actually achieve this?
And no offense, really, but can I get some of the more experienced people on this website to critique my work? And maybe give me some detailed tips on how to improve?
I try really hard to get my work noticed on here. What am I doing wrong?

Easy ways to get depth is to put a black to white gradient map set on soft light, and the opacity lowered, or to use the curves adjustment layer.
