I like the first one, though I'd sharpen the background a little. About the second, the render looks of low quality and the grey color does not really blend well with the whole sig.
But that's just my opinion, fix me, if I'm wrong.

Second one looks pretty good. It might look a little better with a nice clean edge though. Nice job!

I'm going to be very honest for your benefit.
The render; it's too small, tucked to the side, unblended and doesn't fit.
    For blending:
A really easy way to blend from a tutorial here at the Void:
    - Grab the lasso tool and select your render layer.
    - Draw about 1cm around the whole of the render (going around the top and bottom if the render goes from top to bottom)

    - Right click and select Feather and use around 15 pixels.
    - Right click again and select Inverted or something along those lines
    - Now press delete a few times and notice a great way to blend!
    Hope that helps your blending.
Next, the text. Text is hard so I won't critisize too much but use a font that flows well with the tag and keep it close to the focal so it doesn't create another main point to look at.
Background...This is your main problem, it's too crazy and colourful. Try a nice simple background using smudging, clipping masks and C4D effects. I don't see any effects in that tag.
I would offer more help but it's getting late and I can't be bothered to fish out tutorials. I know it's hard to begin with, being eager and all but take your time and try something easier.
