How to invert a vector mask in photoshop?

Ok I was just getting back into vectoring since years of not doing it.

Now I was working at around 30 layers or so, when suddenly it decided to create inverted vector mask, which colors in the opposite of what I have selected, so it only colors outside of the shape I create.

So the circled area is what happened, and I want to invert it back so it makes vector masks with the gray backgrounds.

Good point thanks for the tip. I don't know how I selected it, but I changed it back now and works fine.

I feel stupid asking for help heh but this drove me nuts :P

lol I had the same problem when I first tried vectoring a render . I was so pissed. i made a path around the body and when I tried to fill it with a wanted collor it filled the background not the body I was so pissed lol.
