Purple/Pink Cactus

Hey everyone, Currently taking photography in school, I'm using a Canon PowerShot SX10 IS. Was up on a local mountain today with my brother and happened to get this nice shot. Hope you all enjoy.

Not a bad shot. Good detail and makes for an interesting photo. Read up on the rule of thirds though. You dont want your subject to be smack in the center, in makes for a less interesting subject when looking at the photo. Move it off to the side a bit off to the one thirds mark or the 2/3 mark.

Good color. Good angle. Glad you didnt shoot this from standing position, too often thats the biggest problem of new photographers. Dont be afraid to try new angles.

yea you might need to crop it a bit and blur the cactus in the back to make the focal a bit more clear
