Mary Marvel... Hmmz... too late.

Well.. here's what I would have wanted to do for SoTW... started on a totally different tangent last night, had a look at some tutorials and so-on so-forth, and here it is. Too late.



Personally, I liked the blending of the hair.

The Harshness of the glare... doesn't work for me, but short of adding loads of shadow and breaking up the image, there's not much I can do.

Oh and since this was intended as a SoTW entry, I should say that Mary Marvel is from DC Comics.

Hmm, the left is ok, a bit to bright though.
But the right, completly empty, and the text kind of sucks:x
if you centered the render more, you could use the whole canvas, now it's empty.
I think the effects on the left could be better, a bit less bright, and some effects over her for blending and depth.

Taking that on-board I made some changes:





The second one has some images of her like in a path to the dark. Like Anikin from Star-Wars (did I just ruin the effect?)

the 2nd version is the best but the text is horrible hmm i dont like how she has that blast effect coming from him and its just black on the right side keep working man follow some tuts
